Hey guys i made today this small application which can connect to the servers if you have troubles with connecting.

No more need for Alt+Enter twice

Run app, no installation needed!

Enter the Server IP of the Server you want to connect.
The application will remember the Last Connected server so you dont have to re enter it every time.
If q4 doesnt start after you pressed Connect then you can copy the Q4ConnectFix.exe to the Folder where your Quake4.exe is.

Should work on: Quake 4 Demo, MAYBE Q4 FULL(NO SUCSESS WITH EXTRA MODS)

Should work with: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 (32bit,64bit)

How does it work?
Not a secret lol!!!!

1. Writes to the q4 demo/full folder a connect.cfg
Cfg looks like this:

connect "$YOURSERVERIP"
wait;wait;wait;.........(this will wait for a period of time, else it wouldnt work)
vid_restart (this is like ALT+ENTER twice, just that it works much faster)

2. Writes to the temp folder a connect.cmd file which will run q4 and execute connect.cfg and so connect to your server.
